To
The Secretary
Department of Posts
Dak Bhawan, New Delhi – 110001
Sir,
Sub: - Fixation of pay of re employed pensioners with reference to CCS (RP) Rules 2008-reg.
Ref: - 1) DOPT OM No. 3/13/2008 Estt (Pay II) dated 11.11.2008
2) DOPT OM No. 3/19/2009 Estt (Pay II) dated 05.04.2010
3) DOPT OM No. 3/19/2009 Estt (Pay II) dated 08.11.2010
(Copies enclosed)
A kind reference may please be made on the above cited DOPT OMs
The pay fixation of the re employed pensioners on re-employment in Central Government especially in the case of Defence personnel is not done in the spirit of the above OMs and they are deprived of enhanced pay fixation arising of the CCS (RP) Rules 2008. Their retirement pension and pay last drawn in Defence, revised in the wake of CCS (RP) Rues 2008 are properly to be taken in to account. Further the ignorable portion of pension has been enhanced to Rs. 4000/- All the above components are the essential criterion for fixation which will result a raise in their pay in number of cases particularly to such persons who were in reemployment as on 01.01.2006.
It is needless to emphasis to show favour on the ex-Military personnel by granting them their eligibility. This union requests to cause instructions to all subordinate units to grant the fixation benefits if any not done earlier and render Justice.
With profound regards,
DA: As above
Yours faithfully,
(M. Krishnan)
Secretary General
