Federal Council Meeting was held at Hyderabad from 9^th to 12^th June/13 . I and Mausumi Mazumder.Member, Mahila Committee attended as Federal Councilors. Sri B.V.Sudhakar, Chief Postmaster General,A.P.Circle addressed the house with his valuable speech.

When I was permitted to address the house, the following proposals were given briefly  and the same were accepted and taken as resolutions by the house. In my speech, I also mentioned about allotment of sufficient fund for Medical reimbursement and other incentives which were noted. The resolutions of our Circle are….

1.     Increase of Special Duty Allowances from 12.5% to 25% comparing with other allowances.

2.     Provision of Economic flight fare to Assam and N.E. staff in case of LTC

3.     Increse of Special C/L  from 20 days to 40 days to Union Office Bearers.

 

The main issue of discussion was 7^th Pay Commission and Merger of 50% DA with Pay and the house unanimously decided to take a strong Trade Union action observing the Political situation within October/13. Com. M.Krishnan,SG NFPE & SG Confederation will discuss the matter with Railwaymen Federation and Defence Association so that entire CG Employees may come to the same platform for the issues of 7^th CPC and DA merger.
