Sub :      Regarding glass partition in PO Counters for safety of govt. property/staff

Sir,

The counters in Post Offices in Assam Circle which were recently renovated under Project Arrow have no partition due to which the cash/documents kept in the counters are easily accessible to the public present in the counters. Moreover, the staffs working in the counters also have no safety in case any alteration with the public. If a glass partition is erected in the counters, it will act as a barrier and will perhaps help greatly in the safety of govt. money/documents and staffs.

It is therefore requested kindly to cause action for erection of glass partition in the counters in all such POs for safety of the govt. property as well as the staffs working in counters.

With regards.

Yours  faithfully
