1. Item No. 2.10.P-lll/5/DPS/07: Panel for staff quarter:-
   Reply:- New panel for staff quarter is under preparation. Allotment of vacant quarters will be made soon as per guidelines under FR & SR-s as applicable.
   Present Position:- Allotment of vacant quarters have already been made as per guideline under FR & SR.

2. Item No. 2.11.P-lll/DPS/06: Dilapidated condition of latrine and urinals of Guwahati GPO.
   Reply:- LPC has been formed. The matter is under process likely to be completed soon as reported by the SSPOs, Guwahati Dn.,Guwahati.
3. Provision of armed home guard at all HPOs.
   Reply:- File would be put up before the CPMG so that a policy decision can be taken in this respect. The logic is accepted.
   Present position:- Administrative approval has already been conveyed vide C.O.,Guwahati letter No. Tech/SCTY/GLP/2013-2014 dtd. 14.2.2014.

4. Recognition under CGHS of one private nursing home in each postal division{-
   Present position:- Recognition of private hospital would be pursued as discussed in 4 monthly meeting held on 29.04.2014.However,proposal from the staff side has not been received.
5. A) Vertical extension of Nagaon P.O. building and replacement of it electrical wiring.
   B) Repairing of 1^st floor and staircase of Barpeta HPO building
   C) Provision of cooling facility in the 1^st floor of Kokrajhar HPO Bldg.
   Reply  :- Divisional Supdt. has been permitted to take necessary action locally through RO., Dibrugarh. Staff side may take up the matter at Divisional level.
    
   NEW AGENDA RECEIVED FROM CIRCLE SECY.P-IIIUNION a(NFPE) ON 12.05.2014 i.e. AFTER DUE DATE ON 30.04.20141.HOWEVER,3 AGENDAs ARE INCLUDED THIS TIME.NO AGENDA RECEIVING AFTER DUE DATE WILL BE ENTERTAINED IN FUTURE.

1. SECURITY MEASURES IN THE COUNTERS OF THE PROJECT ARROW POST OFFICES.
   ------ The counters of Project Arrow Post Offices do not have glass partition on the counter. Low height couple with minimum distance between the counter PA and the customers has lessened the security perspective of the cash and other documents kept by the Counter Assistant. Therefore, provision of glass partition on the counters is absolutely necessary. Further cash flows to the SB/PLI counters have been gradually increasing and it is also experienced that some public goes to the counter directly from inside the office resulting in the disturbance to the counter Pas. Therefore, cabin for each counter like bank /Guwahati GPO may kindly be considered.
   Reply:-      This will be examined.
2. CONSTRUCTION OF STORE/RECORDS ROOM ON THE ROOF OF FIRST FLOOR OF KOKRAJHAR HO BUIDING AND ALSO STEP TO BE TAKEN FOR SECURITY AT KOKRAJHAR H.O.
   -------- There is no separate store room at Kokrajhar H.O. Two rooms in the first floor and spaces beneath the staircase are presently used to store the SB records of SBCO branch and other records of the office. As such there is a paucity of spaces at Kokrajhar Post Office. Now installing of the computers and other machine to be used for CPC is becoming a problem. Therefore, necessary action to construct at least three rooms on the roof of first floor for string of office records may kindly be taken. It is also noteworthy that the entrance doors through the Delivery room of Kokrajhar HO have no provision of collapsible gate for which the miscreants took the opportunity to enter into the office by breaking the wooden door in the past burglary case. Therefore, necessary action to provide two collapsible gate at the entrance door may kindly be made.
   Reply:-     This will be examined.
3. REVIEW OF APPLICATION FOR APPOINTMENT UNDER COMPASSIONATE GROUND
   ------ Many deserving candidates who applied for appointment under relaxation of normal recruitment rules are either awaiting for appointment or their case is rejected.The candidature of Ms.Sreya Boro, daughter of Late Bongshidhar Boro, Ex-Postmaster (Grade-I) and Ex-Circle Secy,AIPE Union Group”C” who expired on 16-06-2012 in the office while on duty is reportedly rejected though she possesses required criteria for appointment on compassionate ground. It is therefore, requested kindly to review all such appointment cases including the case of Ms. Sreya Boro on top priority basis and necessary action may kindly be taken at the earliest.
   Reply:- Compassionate appointment case of Ms. Sreya Boro ,Daughter of Late Bongshidhar Boro, Ex PM, Grade I,Rehabari S.O. was received by Circle Office on 19.12.2013 and was placed before the CRC meeting held on 7.3.2014,but the case was not recommended for appointment by committee as the points earned in this case is only 46.
